Bao'an Temple. Bao'an Temple, also known as Bai Lu Lake due to the flocks of egrets, is adjacent to Bai Lu Mountain and overlooks Wu Zhi Mountain, Zhong Yong Mountain, and others, covering an area of over 13 hectares. Built in 1979 in the style of Chinese gardens, the lake covers over 10 hectares and is a regional park. The park features various plants such as bald cypress, golden shower trees, Taiwan goldenrain trees, and azaleas that bloom in sequence, adding different colors to the park's spaces throughout the seasons. Along the lake, egrets, night herons, ducks, and even seasonal birds like grey herons and great egrets are often seen, attracting many visitors with their families to enjoy nature. The park also boasts a variety of ancient-style facilities, including Jin Dai Bridge, Jiu Qu Bridge, and Shui Xie Ge Tai. Jin Dai Bridge was once voted one of the most beautiful scenic bridges in the world. Its arched design and reflection on the lake attract many photography experts who come to capture scenes resembling ink wash paintings. Jiu Qu Bridge, named for its nine bends and thirteen turns, is a popular attraction due to its unique winding design. Shui Xie Ge Tai is a two-story pavilion from which visitors can photograph MRT Wenhu Line trains and enjoy panoramic views of the park. Visiting Bao'an Temple offers an escape from the hustle and bustle, a chance to stroll through the park, admire the scenery, wander along the willow-lined lakeside path to appreciate the lake and mountains, and immerse yourself in nature within the bald cypress forest.
