Heping Green Grassland_Wanhua Park No. 402. "Park No. 402" is located at the intersection of Bangka Boulevard and Xiyuan Road, with an area of 4,693 square meters, forming a slightly triangular shape. "Park No. 402" is located at the intersection of Bangka Boulevard and Xiyuan Road, with an area of 4,693 square meters, forming a slightly triangular shape. The site of this park was originally occupied by buildings such as the Renji Sanatorium and residential houses. The surrounding environment was dilapidated, not only leading to poor living quality but also affecting the urban landscape. Therefore, the city government promoted urban renewal in Wanhua to construct the park. In addition to preserving existing well-grown trees and other vegetation, simple greening methods were used to improve the surrounding environment and provide a lawn for public use. The park officially opened on November 13, 2006. Within the park, on the Xiyuan Road side, there are facilities for fragrant and medicinal herb gardens. Along the park road bordering Bangka Boulevard, leading to the historical building, seating areas and an activity plaza of approximately 256 square meters have been established. Shrubs such as Blue Butterfly bush and Osmanthus are planted along the corridor connecting the plaza and the building. There is also a vast lawn area and trees such as banyan, palmyra palm, Chinese hackberry, camphor, and walking stick palm. The park's tree canopy has become the best place for nearby residents to relax, chat, and connect with each other.
