Currently, it is mainly used for the docking of transportation boats for Blue Highway route operations. Mei Di Pier extends the Blue Highway route to the Neihu area, transforming the Keelung River from a point into a line, creating a water tourism belt integrated with the Miramar commercial district. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, Martyrs' Shrine, and the Ferris wheel, as well as shopping destinations such as major shopping centers and hypermarkets around the Neihu Science Park. Additionally, the Mei Di Riverside Park where the pier is located offers expansive views, allowing visitors to see the takeoffs and landings of aircraft at Taipei 101, a landmark of Taipei, and Songshan Airport.
