Located outside Keelung River Gate No. 16 and in front of the Mei Di Floodgate, Mei Di Pier is one of the ports in the Blue Highway water transportation network, with a layout similar to Dajia Pier. Currently, it is mainly used for the docking of transportation boats for Blue Highway route operations. Mei Di Pier extends the Blue Highway route to the Neihu area, transforming the Keelung River from a point into a line, creating a water tourism belt integrated with the Miramar commercial district. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, Martyrs' Shrine, and the Ferris wheel, as well as shopping destinations such as major shopping centers and hypermarkets around the Neihu Science Park. Additionally, the Mei Di Riverside Park where the pier is located offers expansive views, allowing visitors to see the takeoffs and landings of aircraft at Taipei 101, a landmark of Taipei, and Songshan Airport. It is also a great place for citizens to get close to the riverbank, enjoy leisurely walks, or engage in cycling activities.
