It serves as a hub for citizens to learn about Hakka culture and a place for recreation, as well as a gathering space for the Hakka community in Taipei to interact and showcase their life memories. The park features three main buildings: the "Hakka Culture Center," "Music and Drama Center," and "Hakka Village Life Hall." Indoor facilities offer diverse services including art creation spaces, themed exhibitions, music and drama performances, a variety of courses, parent-child activities, a specialty cafe, and Hakka cuisine (specialty restaurants). Outdoor amenities include the Tudigong Temple, Jingziting (a shrine for honoring written characters), tea plantations, terraced fields, ecological ditches, water wheels, and a rural experience area. The park also cultivates a variety of seasonal Hakka crops, promoting organic agricultural products and food education. A cross-river levee platform connects the park to the riverside, featuring comfortable pedestrian paths and bicycle lanes. This pathway links Taipei Hakka Culture Park, National Taiwan University's (NTU) Gongguan Campus, riverside green spaces, the Gongguan commercial district, and Treasure Hill Artist Village, creating a waterfront tourism axis for the new Gongguan waterfront world! It allows the public to enjoy a waterfront environment filled with culture, leisure, and tourism.
