The park has been meticulously renovated by the city government's Geotechnical Engineering Office, with well-planned hiking trails, viewing platforms, and access roads. This has not only successfully connected the mountain systems of Shilin and Neihu districts but also integrated surrounding tourist resources such as the Bishan Campground and Baishihu Rural Community, forming a complete green recreational corridor. Starting from the Bishan Bridge at the entrance, the journey is full of surprises. The Taiwanese tree frog stone sculpture at the bridgehead highlights the unique and rich ecology of the area, while the semi-circular viewing platform beside the bridge offers a panoramic view of the gurgling Neishuangxi stream and the peculiar rock formations of Shitoushan. As you venture deeper into the park along the hiking trails, a spectacular giant tree observation deck is a must-visit highlight. This 6-meter-high observation deck is constructed entirely of ebony, with its four pillars retaining the unique form of raw wood. Ascending to the platform, you can take in the expansive views of Dalouwei Mountain and Yuanshanzi Mountain. This area is not only the Bishan watershed with abundant water resources, but its ecological value is even more significant as it lies at the intersection of species from the ancient Hsuehshan Range and the emerging Datun Mountain Range, serving as a cradle for all life.
