The main building's architectural style is said to have been inspired by Mr. Li Chunsheng's reference to churches built by Western missionaries in the Xiamen area of Fujian, with the aim of promoting doctrine and exuding an elegant atmosphere. The main structure is reinforced brick, built with high-quality Taisho-era red bricks, showcasing excellent craftsmanship. The facade is adorned with artistic decorations blending Chinese and Western elements. Due to the conservative customs of the time, the chapel had separate seating for men and women, with separate entrances from the left and right respectively. These features and events bear witness to the development of Christianity in the Taipei region from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Although the architectural style imitates Western church designs, the facade's terrazzo decorations still feature traditional Taiwanese patterns, integrating Chinese and Western styles. The building's scale is solemn yet approachable, possessing unique characteristics and is considered rare in modern Taiwanese architecture, receiving high praise from heritage experts and designated as Taipei City's 100th historic site. The church also houses a "musical clock" composed of 25 bells of various sizes, which plays music precisely at noon every day, cycling through 7 different melodies.
