Tonghua Park. This park is located at the intersection of Wenchang Street and Tonghua Street. Established in 1987, it was originally named "Wentong Park" and covers an area of 1,180 square meters. Wenchang Street, on the outer side of Tonghua Park, is Taipei City's famous "Furniture Street," with shops selling all kinds of furniture everywhere. Not far away is Linjiang Street Night Market, which features Hakka culture and is a well-known night market in Taipei City. With nearly 200 stalls offering various delicious snacks, it keeps many Taipei residents lingering and reluctant to leave. The entrance of Tonghua Park is planted with seasonal flowers that change with the seasons. The bougainvillea on the trellis, when in bloom, fills the entire park with red flowers, making it hard to ignore. Although the park's overall design is mostly hardscaping, it is planted with golden shower trees, banyan trees, and magnolia trees. The dense foliage still provides good shade. Although there isn't enough light beneath the trees, shade-tolerant plants like Aglaonema, Nephrolepis, Acalypha wilkesiana, and Cordyline fruticosa are used for landscaping, enriching the park's ecosystem.
