The Japanese dormitories in Jin Ding belonged to the employees of the Forestry Division of the Bureau of Productive Industries of the Government-General of Taiwan and were called "Jin Ding Sixth Street" at the time. The Jin Ding Japanese Dormitory Group is located in the area of Jin Hua Street No. 84 and 86, Jin Hua Street No. 90, Alley 61, Section 2, Hangzhou South Road No. 33, 35, Alley 61, Section 2, Hangzhou South Road No. 37, 39, Alley 61, Section 2, Hangzhou South Road No. 43, Alley 61, Section 2, Hangzhou South Road No. 49, 51 in Da'an District, Taipei City. The entire area is arranged north-south, with a large scale and complete overall configuration. According to the Cultural Heritage Preservation Act, it has been registered as a "Taipei City Historic Building." The spatial layout of the Jin Ding Japanese Dormitory Group is in the Japanese residential style. The exterior features bamboo-and-mud walls covered with rain-proof boards, wooden truss roof framing, and Japanese black tiles.
