140 Highland Park. 140 Highland Park covers an area of 5.6 hectares and is located within Wanmei Village, Wenshan District, Taipei City, north of Wanning Street, between Wanning Street and Section 2 of Wanmei Street. 140 Highland Park covers an area of 5.6 hectares and is located within Wanmei Village, Wenshan District, Taipei City, north of Wanning Street, between Wanning Street and Section 2 of Wanmei Street. The highest point, Baozixiao Mountain at 138 meters above sea level, is located in 140 Highland Park next to Wanning Street. Before the development of Wanfang Community, this parkland was known as Baozixiao, a vast hilly area inhabited by only 45 households. Today, below Baozixiao Mountain, the summit offers a panoramic view. In 2004, Wenshan (Muzha) Park No. 80 (approximately 2.2 hectares) was built, and in 2007, Wenshan (Muzha) Park No. 30 (approximately 3.4 hectares) was built. These two parks are collectively known as "140 Highland Park." The park entrances are located next to Wanning Street 125 and 225. Ascending along winding wooden steps, the path transitions to gravel steps after reaching the ridgeline. Following the ridgeline, the area boasts rich forestation, with viewing platforms and pavilions along the way offering excellent vistas. You can overlook the landscape below, gaze at Taipei 101 and the myriad of lights, and enjoy the scenic beauty of Wenshan District, making it an ideal spot for stargazing and moon viewing. To foster a sustainable ecological environment, the original terrain was preserved as much as possible during the park's development, avoiding damage to the habitats of flora and fauna. Only essential facilities and pathways connecting surrounding green spaces have been installed, providing citizens with a natural retreat.
