Yangmingshan Park. Yangmingshan Park is located north of Taipei City, about 17 kilometers from the city center. After Taiwan's retrocession, in honor of Mr. Wang Yangming, the name "Caoshan" was changed to "Yangmingshan" in 1950, and the Yangmingshan Administration was established to develop Yangmingshan Park. The park's planned urban area is approximately 107 hectares. After the Yangmingshan Administration was reorganized in 1977, park affairs were handed over to the Parks and Street Lights Management Office. This park, part of the Datun Mountain range, is situated at an altitude of 445 meters. With Qixing Mountain behind it, Shamao Mountain to its left, and Datun Mountain nearby to its right, it offers a distant view of the layered peaks of Guanyin Mountain. Its warm, humid climate, with cool summers, makes it an excellent summer resort and the only place in Taiwan with natural landscapes of dormant volcanoes, sulfur vents, and hot springs. The park is planted with various flowers such as plum, cherry, peach, plum, azalea, and camellia. Every spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they attract many visitors to the mountain to admire the flowers. Additionally, there is a Flower Clock composed of various seasonal flowers. If you visit, don't forget to take a photo with Yangmingshan's most iconic Flower Clock. In Yangmingshan Park, you can enjoy flowers in spring, escape the summer heat, admire silvergrass and maple leaves in autumn, and soak in hot springs in winter.
