Currently, the total cultivated area of calla lily fields in Zhuzihu is about thirteen hectares, accounting for more than 80% of Taiwan's total calla lily production. The blooming season for calla lilies is from January to May each year, with the peak season in March and April. Zhuzihu calla lilies are mainly white. The elegant white part, the 'spathe', is not the flower itself. The yellow spadix in the center is covered with many inconspicuous small flowers, with separate male and female parts, arranged in an orderly fashion. During the calla lily season, on holidays (including weekends), traffic control measures will be implemented in the Zhuzihu area, with clockwise one-way traffic from Hutian Bridge West towards Calla Lily Boulevard. Calla Lily Boulevard will be one-way until the intersection towards Zhongzheng Mountain. Additionally, the section from Hutian Bridge to Donghu Road will be two-way traffic, while the Dinghu section will be one-way and U-turns will be prohibited. Traffic will be directed to leave via the newly built stone path towards Yangjin Highway. Traffic control in the Zhuzihu area will be implemented on holidays from 9 AM to 6 PM, with flexible adjustments based on actual traffic flow. Due to the limited road width in the Zhuzihu area, it is recommended that visitors utilize public transportation, such as MRT and buses.
