Fortune-Telling Street. The Songjiang Road Fortune-Telling Street has been established for over 30 years. It is located in the pedestrian underpass at Minquan East Road and Songjiang Road in front of Xingtian Temple. In the early years, due to the constant stream of worshippers at Xingtian Temple, many people would visit the Fortune-Telling Street to consult with fortune tellers after drawing lots at the temple to confirm their answers. With the added boost from international tourists, the Fortune-Telling Street became famous abroad. Many television media and celebrities from Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea have come to have their fortunes told and to film programs. The small fortune-telling booths are filled with photos of celebrities from abroad, making it evident that this place is very popular.
