Since 1949, the center has been engaged in research and experimental work related to the collection, acclimatization, and cultivation technique improvement of camellia and azalea varieties. It was opened to the public in 2003 and has since been transformed into a public park. Research and Exhibition The Horticultural Experiment Center publicly displays the results of long-term cultivation and research experiments, allowing the public to view years of research achievements. The park is divided into several themed areas, including the Camellia Area, Herb Area, Fragrant Flower Area, Native Azalea Area, Maple Area, Coniferous Tree Area, Yoshino Cherry Area, Fern and Begonia Greenhouse, and Succulent Greenhouse. Themed Area Strolls Each themed area creates a different landscape feature, allowing visitors to stroll leisurely and enjoy the beauty of changing seasons. Each area displays different types of plants, offering a rich visual and sensory experience, allowing visitors to deeply experience the charm of nature.
