The scenery along the banks of Jingque Creek from Jingque Bridge to Zhugoling Bridge is pleasant, and the creek ecosystem is diverse, making it a popular spot for canyoning enthusiasts seeking secluded scenery. Jingque Creek has steep terrain and fast currents. In the past, heavy rainfall often caused erosion and landslides along the banks. To balance watershed safety and ecological conservation, the Geotechnical Engineering Office of the Taipei City Government carried out integrated planning and management of the watershed, allocating funds in stages for rehabilitation. Huang Tian-jin, head of the Debris Flow Prevention Section of the Geotechnical Engineering Office, said that Jingque Creek uses porous stone masonry construction and has established hydrophilic facilities along the banks, which also maintain the natural ecological balance. It is currently popular among canyoning enthusiasts. The Geotechnical Engineering Office stated that the principle of Jingque Creek rehabilitation is to follow the natural terrain of the creek and install hydrophilic platforms, trails, and bed stabilization structures that are conducive to the habitat of living organisms. At locations with high drops in the creek bed, long stone energy dissipators are installed. In addition, sedimentation basins are set up in flat areas of the creek, which have flood control, water storage, and hydrophilic functions. The Geotechnical Engineering Office pointed out that the rehabilitation of Jingque Creek is divided into four sections, from the upstream (near Happy Farm) to the downstream tributaries.
