Xin Xin Park covers an area of 25,408 square meters and is located at Lane 149, Section 3, Nangang Road. The land was donated by Taiwan Railways Administration and is part of the East District Gateway Project. The park is planned as an "Ecological Wetland Park." Native plants that attract butterflies and birds are cultivated to provide habitats for wildlife and enhance biodiversity. It also offers opportunities for environmental education. In response to global warming and extreme weather, the park incorporates flood retention functions, creating a sponge city with water storage and retention spaces to achieve base water retention. Utilizing the spatial axis after the railway undergrounding, it connects public and private land from west to east, developing a multi-core corridor urban spatial structure, serving as a park for public recreation and disaster prevention. It includes children's play facilities such as a climbing wall, slide, zip line, and balance beam, designed with the mountainous terrain of the Northeast Coast as a base, allowing adults and children to engage in activities and enjoy the scenery amidst the undulating landscape. The slide platform in the children's play area is the highest point in the park and a popular spot for panoramic views. (Source: Department of Parks and Street Lights, Taipei City Government)
