Qianshan Park. Qianshan Park is located in the Yangmingshan area, adjacent to the east side of Mt. Shamao, the Yangmingshan Bus Terminal, and the Teachers' Training Center. Qianshan Park boasts rich landscapes, offering views of Mt. Shamao and Mt. Qixing. Since the Japanese colonial era, a stream flowing from the hillside west of Zhongshan Building at the foot of Mt. Qixing has traversed the park. The stream converges into Yangming Lake, reflecting the beautiful scenery of Mt. Qixing. The lakeside also features free public bathhouses for men and women, which are very popular among visitors. It is an excellent destination for cherry blossom viewing in spring, escaping the summer heat, socializing in autumn, and admiring maple leaves in winter. Qianshan Park No. 4, conceptualized around the conical volcanic body of Mt. Shamao, utilizes wisteria flowers, which grow well in Yangmingshan, to create a landscape that echoes the shape of Mt. Shamao. The green mound serves as a new entrance image for Yangmingshan. When the wisteria flowers are in full bloom, walking among them allows visitors to be immersed in a romantic purple spectacle. Qianshan Park No. 3 is located within Lane 38, Section 1, Yangming Road. When the cherry blossoms and azaleas are in full bloom, it feels like a secluded paradise far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Qianshan Park No. 1, the Panliu Area, is situated next to the Teachers' Center. It has been renovated to include the Xinzhi Pond and the shaded Biyue Lake rest area, a foot-soaking pool area, several mountain spring streams, and a white sulfur hot spring stream intertwined with Yangmingshan's volcanic rocks in the Panliu garden. The landscape stones along the stream were specially crafted by Koji, a master stone mason from Japan.
