The southern base features the "Pop Music Museum," which showcases the glorious history and diverse aspects of Taiwanese pop music through thematic exhibitions, and the "Industry Area," aimed at nurturing Taiwanese music talent. Integrating pop music and pop culture, Taipei Music Center is not just a venue for pop music performances but also a functional park that starts with the pop music industry and describes pop culture and lifestyles. The architecture of Taipei Music Center was designed by RUR Architecture from the United States, inspired by ancient Roman forums. It utilizes a circular space to combine art, commerce, markets, and performance activities, aiming to create a "functional building" with different uses 24 hours a day through the extensive use by pop music industry professionals, citizens, and overseas tourists.
