Chengmei Riverside Park (Right Bank) is located between Keelung River's Chenggong Bridge and MacArthur Bridge (Neihu side). Every weekend, groups of people can be seen a few meters apart, engrossed in manipulating the tools in their hands, such as remote-controlled cars and digital SLR cameras... and the adults are more enthusiastic than the children! The park has many sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, softball practice fields, skating rinks, pull-up bars, fitness equipment, etc., providing more sports space for Taipei citizens. The "Rainbow Bridge" connects the left and right banks of Chengmei Park. The bridge is bright red with a unique design, like a rainbow spanning across the river. The bicycle path under the bridge is wide, and the riverbank walls are covered with green vines, with wave-like patterns at the base, echoing the Rainbow Bridge. Elevators are installed at both ends of the Rainbow Bridge, leading directly to the top of the embankment, making it convenient for people with disabilities, the elderly, and strollers to avoid strenuous climbing. The barrier-free design is very thoughtful. A bicycle towing path is set up in the middle of the stairs, allowing cyclists to easily pass through both ends. From Chengmei Riverside Park (Right Bank), you can also capture a panoramic view of Taipei 101 with blue skies and white clouds. After dark, the Keelung River water sparkles, creating a harmonious scene, making it a gathering place for many photography enthusiasts.
