To reduce issuance costs, improve market operational efficiency, and align with global trends, the Financial Supervisory Commission tasked the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) with actively promoting the dematerialization of all securities. On July 29, 2011, Taiwan's securities market officially achieved the "100% Dematerialization" goal, becoming the 13th country among the top 25 global markets by market capitalization to fully dematerialize. To commemorate this milestone in Taiwan's securities market, the TDCC planned and established Taiwan's first Stock Museum at the original site of the securities vault. The "Taiwan Stock Museum" not only introduces the origin and evolution of stocks but also aims to showcase the close relationship between the development of Taiwan's stock market and its economic context, as well as the impact of stocks on society, daily life, and even art and culture, through precious collections, historical documents, and multimedia interactions. You are welcome to leave your footprints here, experience it at your leisure, and join us in opening the vault door, entering a time tunnel, and exploring the past, present, and future of stocks.
