Come to Lishan Farmers' Plaza in Nangang, where you can see the plaza floor inlaid with the lyrics of Su Shi, a literary master of the Northern Song Dynasty, from his poem "Ding Feng Bo," exuding a literary atmosphere. Originally, this place was a private school during the Japanese colonial era, where local children studied. Later, due to a collapse disaster, it lay abandoned for many years, never to be restored. The Geotechnical Engineering Office, in conjunction with the agricultural community's environmental improvement, has managed the old collapsed land, integrating elements such as Japanese-style pavilions, bald cypress trees, and landscape stones to create an image of the early private school, shaping a uniquely styled recreational plaza environment. Opposite Lishan Farmers' Plaza is the Sifen Stream, which has achieved success in its "seal the stream and protect the fish" initiative. Visitors can also take a stroll along the heart-shaped stepping stones and the stream-side trail, listening to the babbling brook while admiring the beautiful scenery of the bald cypress trees. It is a suitable destination for leisure holidays, allowing you to experience the secret beauty of the bald cypress grove and the romantic atmosphere of the heart-shaped stepping stones. If you are interested in the story of "seal the stream and protect the fish" at Sifen Stream, you are also welcome to contact the Jiuru Community Development Association for an ecological tour, to experience the essence of nature and enjoy an educational and entertaining short trip.
