Water Meter Room. The water meter room is a square brick and reinforced concrete building used for measuring the water output of the Xiaoguanyinshan Reservoir. Its original construction date and design are unknown due to lost files. Its original construction date and design are unknown due to lost files. However, according to property registration records, the construction of the water meter room was completed in March 1913 (Republic of China Year 2). It was retired after the completion of the Gongguan Water Treatment Plant in 1977 (Republic of China Year 66). The building was excavated downwards to meet functional needs. The surface features recessed grooves and decorative lines, with exposed red bricks at the corners. The windows and window frames of the water meter room are semicircular arched at the top and square at the bottom. This building is estimated to have been added after the completion of the main project of the Taipei Waterworks, but it still shows overall planning and design consistent with related architectural facilities.
