After exiting from the East Station (Front Station), a short walk across Banlin Road leads into Banqiao District. Shulin Station is an island-type station with three platforms. The first and second platforms are island platforms, while the third is a side platform. The original Shulin Station had only two platforms; the third platform was completed and put into use in 2007. However, most trains still use the first and second platforms, with the third platform being used for operational shunting and for trains originating or terminating there.
