There are many places to admire the sea of clouds here, with the area around Xiaoghetou on the Beiyi Highway being the most famous. Looking north from Xiaoghetou towards mountains like Yuguiling, peaks emerge above the clouds. With any slight change in weather, the entire mountain range sinks into the sea of clouds, creating a spectacular sight. Compared to other sea of clouds viewing spots in Taiwan, its low altitude and high frequency of occurrence are its characteristics.
