It can carry approximately 1,000 people and is a well-known tourist attraction in the Xindian District. Due to the clear jade-like color of the river, it is called Bitan (Jade Pool). In the early days, travel between the two banks of Bitan was mainly by ferry. After the completion of the Bitan Suspension Bridge, it not only became an important bridge connecting Zhonghe and Xindian but also, due to its beautiful and unique design, became the scenic focus of the Bitan Scenic Area decades later, and a landmark of the Xindian District.
