The Sanxiantai Lighthouse is located on the hill behind the harbor, making it a fishing port with an excellent geographical location. Fishing boats from Magang Harbor primarily operate in the waters around Guishan Island and the Sandiao Bay fishing grounds, engaging in coastal and near-shore fishing with same-day returns. Main catches include snapper, bonito, shortfin squid, broad squid, and lobster.
