Situated by the sea directly opposite the new Shih-Pa-Wang-Kung Temple at kilometer 24 of Provincial Highway No. 2 in Shimen District, the National Northern Scenic Area Administration invested over NT$8 million to transform the former area of tin-roofed stalls into the first wedding plaza. This initiative aimed to sustain the popularity of the "Capture Wedding Photos on the North Coast" event, which began in 2005, and to establish a permanent tourist attraction on the North Coast, providing a picturesque spot for visitors to take photos.
