According to folklore, Koxinga Zheng Chenggong's army was once attacked by two strange birds here. Zheng Chenggong ordered his troops to attack them with dragon pole cannons. After the two strange birds were shot down, they transformed into today's Yingge Stone and Yuan Shan. Yuan Shan stands majestically to the south of the Dahan River alluvial plain, offering excellent views and is a popular hiking destination in Sanxia.
