Located at the end of the Jinguangliao River Bicycle Path, this is the location of Jinguangliao Tea Fragrance Ecological Village. Pinglin District in New Taipei City, famous for its Baozhong tea, has always been an important tea production center in northern Taiwan. The reason it is named Tea Fragrance Ecological Village is that most of the villagers make a living by growing and processing tea. With the opening of the Beiyi Highway, Pinglin became an important transit station on the Beiyi Highway and became a tea production center by growing two types of tea: "Wenshan Baozhong Tea" and "Qingshin Oolong Tea." The tea plantations in Pinglin District are mainly distributed on the hillsides along Provincial Highway 42, Jinguangliao River Industrial Road, and Beiyi Road. As you slowly drive along the road, the rolling tea plantation scenery is intoxicating. The Beishi River and Jinguangliao River wind through here, carving out many beautiful deep pools and ravines, like the hidden paradise described by Tao Yuanming, giving a sense of tranquility and peace. This makes Pinglin District a tea-producing resort that combines mountain and water scenery with humanistic customs.
