Shuangxi Station — Located in Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, Shuangxi Station was formerly known as "Ding Shuangxi Station." It has two island platforms and was originally a wooden station at an elevation of approximately 35 meters above sea level. Due to the development of coal mining, passenger numbers increased daily, and freight and passenger services grew. To meet business demands, it was later rebuilt into a concrete station building. Shuangxi Station's platforms and track bed are relatively high, and the section between Shuangxi Station and Mudan Station features a steep slope of 16 per thousand, known by railway enthusiasts as "Mudan Slope."
