Keelung Mountain Trail. The trailhead of Keelung Mountain is located about 350 meters from the entrance of Jiufen Old Street, with a parking lot nearby. Keelung Mountain is named so because its shape resembles a giant chicken coop, hence it was formerly called "Chicken Coop Mountain." Although it is called Keelung Mountain, it is not directly related to the important port of Keelung in northern Taiwan, only geographically close. When viewed from the side, it also resembles a reclining pregnant woman, hence its other name, "Da Du Mei Ren Shan" (Great Belly Beauty Mountain).
