Bang Keng Kou. Banglongkou is another name for "tunnel entrance." The "Banglongkou" currently referred to mostly means the Jiufen Mountain Banglongkou, which was wide enough to accommodate the narrow-gauge railway cars of the time. Bang Geng Kou is another name for "tunnel entrance." The "Bang Geng Kou" referred to today mostly means the Jiufen Mountain Bang Geng Kou. Its width was sufficient for two narrow-gauge trains to pass each other at the time, but now it can only accommodate a single van. The rock is hard, and mountain spring water frequently drips from the cracks in the stones inside the tunnel, which is especially noticeable after heavy rain.
