Xindian Bitan Commercial District. Located at the southern edge of the Taipei Basin, Xindian District in New Taipei City borders Zhonghe District to the north, Tucheng District to the west, Shiding District to the east, and Sanxia District and Wulai District to the south. It is the transportation and commercial center of the southern part of New Taipei City. Relying on the convenient water transport of the Xindian River, commercial activities flourished, and the Bitan Commercial District gradually took shape.
