Niumatou Cultural Park. The "Niumatou Site" is located on Qingmei Mountain in Qingshui District (formerly known as Niumatou), Taichung City, within the Taichung Port Specific Area Municipal Park, formerly the Qingshui Camp of the Army. The "Niumatou Site" represents the middle Neolithic culture of central Taiwan and is named after this place. It is also the first "named archaeological site" in Taiwan. The unearthed pottery is mainly red and brown cord-marked pottery.
