Originally known as "Bei Tun New Village," it was later renamed. Originally known as "Bei Tun New Village," it was later renamed "Ling Yun Community." It is one of Taichung's 134 military dependents villages, primarily serving as dormitories for military technicians of colonel rank and above from the Guizhou Aircraft Manufacturing Company and their families. Currently, three representative military dependents village buildings are preserved. Since August 2017, it has been operated and managed by Liangguo Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd. In addition to the museum's exhibitions and promotions, it offers experiences of traditional military village cuisine and retro ice treats and snacks, as well as Taiwanese-style barber services. Furthermore, it features an old Taiwanese antique shop and a cultural and creative market, bringing a sense of the era to the historic residences, allowing visitors to experience the new look of the military dependents village, blending the old with the new!
