From the establishment of the first generation station in 1905, the second generation station was born in 1917 to cope with increased capacity, and the third generation station emerged in 2016 with the railway's elevation. It is the only station in Taiwan where three generations coexist. The second generation station, with its century of history, has shed its operational responsibilities and stands as a national historic site, a significant cultural asset. To revive the glory of the old station and allow the public to get close to this precious cultural asset, a classic international team has taken over to create the "Taichung Station Railway Cultural Park" and promote a preservation plan!
