Yanshui Wumiao Temple. Yanshui Wumiao Temple's main deity is Guan Sheng Di Jun. Yanshui Wumiao Temple's main deity is Guan Sheng Di Jun. Legend has it that in the late Ming Dynasty, a painting of Guan Sheng Di Jun, worshipped by a female devotee from Madou, was blown by a gust of wind onto a banyan tree more than ten kilometers away in Yanshui. It could not be moved back, and locals believed it to be a divine miracle. They built a temple on the spot to worship the deity, and it remains the spiritual center of Yanshui to this day.
