Baoan Station. Baoan Station, built in 1899, was originally named Cheluqian Station. At that time, its location was about 1.5K south of the current site. It is the best-preserved Japanese-era wooden station in Taiwan. The station building is constructed with Alishan cypress wood and still maintains its original appearance today. It is an important shared memory and transportation hub for nearby residents and students of Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy and Science.
