At the summit stands the tallest Sakyamuni Buddha statue in Taiwan, measuring eight zhang and four chi, and the first Diamond Sutra Pagoda in Taiwan. The base of the Buddha statue's lotus seat is designed with Taiwan's only secret altar, embedded with nine hundred and ninety-nine Sakyamuni Buddha statues, from which Qianfo Mountain derives its name.
