Yongkang Park was originally named Yunshan Farm and was formerly the presidential residence of President Chiang Ching-kuo. When Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo visited the south in the 1960s, he stayed in the farmhouse of Yunshan Farm, which was later rebuilt into a park. However, the presidential residence was preserved as the Ching-kuo Memorial Hall. The park is rich in ecology, and you can observe many small creatures living in the park along the ecological trail. There are also facilities such as a sandpit pavilion and a viewing platform. The quiet environment with a tropical atmosphere has become a good place for citizens to take a walk and enjoy nature nearby.
