Remains of the Xiaodongmen Section of the Taiwan Prefecture City Wall. When the wooden stockade city of Taiwan Prefecture was built in the third year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1735 AD), the scope of the Xiaodongmen section was: facing east, leaning against Longshan Temple, with Dadongmen gate. The wooden stockade extended north from Dadongmen, continued to behind the Youying Hall, turned northeast to Xiaodongmen, then went due north, and near the City Guard Camp was Dabai Gate. Therefore, the section of the city at Xiaodongmen is the two sections between Dadongmen city and Dabai Gate city.
