Kai Ji Ling You Temple. Kai Ji Ling You Temple was built in 1665 AD, dedicated to Xuan Tian Shang Di. The temple houses a unique golden-faced statue of Xuan Tian Shang Di in Taiwan. Because it was built the earliest, it is named Kai Ji (founding), but due to its smaller scale compared to the Bei Ji Dian on Minquan Road, it is also known as the "Small Shang Di Temple." Having undergone several reconstructions and damage during World War II due to its long history, the temple's orientation was changed during the Japanese colonial period. Traces of this orientation change are still preserved and displayed on-site today. Kai Ji Ling You Temple was built in 1665 AD, dedicated to Xuan Tian Shang Di.
