The exterior appearance has not changed significantly from its original construction and is well-preserved. The most beautiful feature of the building is the classical Roman-style portico at the main entrance. The entire building is richly decorated and very ornate, making it a historic building on the NCKU campus from the same era as the Dacheng Hall and the Department of History building.
