From Minquan Road, you first see the Baroque-style Tainan Public Assembly Hall, next to which is the Japanese-style wooden house, Shibamao Teahouse. Continuing further back, you'll find a classical Chinese garden, which is then surrounded by modern high-rise buildings in the back. Time and space seem to intertwine here, with buildings from various eras gathered together. On weekday afternoons, the grassy steps in front of Wuyuan are always filled with people basking in the sun, resting, or picnicking and chatting. Others stand by the small bridges and flowing water of the Chinese garden, feeding the carp in the pond, creating a leisurely scene amidst the hustle and bustle. Shibamao Teahouse is also packed with customers, many of whom come to taste tea, drawn by the reputation of Teacher Ye Dongtai. Inside the Public Assembly Hall, there are many different art exhibitions, making this place not only a treasure trove of architecture but also a sanctuary for art and life.
