Former Tainan Governor's Residence. Built between 1898 and 1906. Built between 1898 and 1906. During the Japanese colonial era, it served as the residence of the Tainan Governor. Later, it became a dormitory for internal affairs officials. After World War II, it was used as a residence for high-ranking government officials and was guarded by plainclothes police. It was subsequently used as dormitory for Tainan First Senior High School faculty. Due to neglect, it fell into disrepair until its restoration and reopening in September 2017. It is now used as a reception hall for the Mayor of Tainan to host foreign guests.
