In 2005, the former Tainan County Government allocated a budget, supplemented by subsidies from the Hakka Affairs Council, for the joint construction and renovation. The hall was officially inaugurated on March 3, 2007. On April 15, 2011, in response to the merger and reorganization of Tainan County and City, it was renamed "Tainan City Nanying Hakka Cultural Hall." The hall is located in the center of Xinying District, Tainan City. The interior decoration is filled with a strong Hakka flavor, open for public visits, and serves as a hub for serving fellow villagers, promoting Hakka culture, and organizing various research and training activities.
