Ranked alongside Sicao Wetland as Taiwan's two major international-level wetlands, located at the mouth of the Zengwen River, extending from Dingtou'e Sandbar Guosheng Port Lighthouse (Qigu Lighthouse) and the southern dike in the north to the Qingcaolun Dike on the southern bank of the Zengwen River in the south. Its eastern boundary is Provincial Highway No. 17 (Guosheng Bridge), and its western boundary extends to the 6-meter isobath in the sea, covering a total area of 3,218 hectares.
