Taijiang Liukong Management Station (including Visitor Center). The elegant white arched structure stretching along the blue coast is many people's first impression of Liukong Pier. The pier is even more dazzling at dusk with the sunset glow. The elegant white arched structure stretching along the blue coast is many people's first impression of Liukong Pier. The pier is even more dazzling at dusk with the sunset glow. In addition to being a major hub for taking bamboo rafts to tour the lagoon, Liukong Pier also has a visitor center and management office. Most importantly, this is the venue for the annual Cigu Seafood Festival. When the most popular 'Chi Zui Yuan' (clam digging) activity kicks off, it always attracts many parent-child groups from all over Taiwan to experience clam digging. Everyone on the shore is eager to show off their skills, and when the organizer gives the signal, everyone steps barefoot into the shallows to feel the location of the 'chi zui' (clams) in the mud under their feet, hoping their buckets will be full of harvest. This special and interesting experience always makes children reluctant to leave.
