Liujia Zhennan Temple. Established in 1946, it enshrines Fuyou Emperor, founded by Lin Jing-tang from Liuying. Established in 1946, it enshrines Fuyou Emperor, founded by Lin Jing-tang from Liuying. As history progressed and incense offerings grew, it was expanded to its current state. Zhennan Temple is located close to the Yoichi Hatta Memorial Park, Wushantou Reservoir, and the Tainan Science Park Liujia Campus. After worship, you can take a simple mountain hike along the Chishan Trail behind the temple. The trail is clear and gentle, with facilities like viewing platforms and rest areas along the way, and a beautiful forest of lemon eucalyptus hidden within. The trail leads to the small lake at ITRI, and also to the Coral Lake campsite and Siyuan Building in Wushantou. The scenery along the trail is beautiful. Most visitors here are locals in the know, and you can often see residents bringing snacks and brewing tea for a picnic in the trail pavilions, which is very pleasant. As there are not many tourists, it feels like a hidden gem.
