It was also a filming location for Jay Chou's movie "The Rooftop". After the Hu Yue Suspension Bridge was built in 1905, it further enhanced the charm of the lake. For a century, the suspension bridge spanning the water has always set off the sunrise and dawn, as well as the sunset glow over the lake. Walking across the suspension bridge leads to a small island in the center of the lake. The viewing pavilion on the island is the best spot to admire the waterscape. On holidays, leisurely travelers are often seen sitting here, enjoying the various boats on the lake.
