Located within Longqi Huxingshan Park, the Wanglong Suspension Bridge is the successor to the Huxingshan Suspension Bridge built during the Japanese colonial era. After the Huxingshan Suspension Bridge became old and unable to bear the load, the old bridge was dismantled in 1998 and the "Wanglong Suspension Bridge" was built, becoming a new landmark of the park. Today, the old bridge's foundation can still be seen among the vegetation to the left of the suspension bridge. The scenery around the suspension bridge is very tranquil, attracting many couples for dates, hence its romantic nickname "Lover's Bridge" in the past.
